Mexico rattled by 6.0-magnitude quake

Mexico City and surrounding areas have been rattled by a 6.0-magnitude earthquake.

There have been no immediate reports of damages or injuries.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the 6.0 quake occurred around 3:20 a.m. local time (0920 GMT).

The quake was centered about 105 miles (169 kilometers) south of the capital, at the border of the State of Mexico and the Pacific coast state of Guerrero.

Mexico's National Seismological Service estimated the magnitude at 6.4.
