2012 has been a majorly big year for the Stonekings...when looking back at just how much we have experienced, it blows my mind that this year has already come and gone in what seems like the blink of an eye and we're about to bring in another year. Here is a look back at some of what we did in 2012!
Counted down the weeks until our darling baby girl arrived
Put the finishing touches on Caroline's nursery
Celebrated with friends and family when we were thrown two gorgeous baby showers
Spent time with friends celebrating birthdays!
Met Miss Caroline Cate on March 17, 2012 at 12:18PM
Brought our perfect little angel home
Got adjusted to life as a family of three
Made sure to make time for us as a couple with date nights
Took Caroline on her first beach vacation to Seaside
?Enjoyed my first Mother's Day with pedicures and massages with Mimi
?Attended Julie and Jon's gorgeous wedding in Alys Beach
Showered and partied our way through Candice's big day!
?Went to Knoxville for a girl's weekend for sweet Jamie and her baby shower for Ethan
?Spent lots of afternoons with fun in the sun and taking in the summertime festivities
Blew out a few candles for my 29th birthday!
Took Caroline on her first trp to the zoo
Watched my baby grow before my very own eyes
Had a few opportunities to play dress up with the hubs for some fun parties and weddings
Spent a few weekends attending?the Lawson's?parties, showers, and wedding day fun
?Baptized our baby girl with our nearest and dearest there to share in the beautiful day
Introduced Caroline to UT football
Participated in all sorts of fun fall activities and dressed CC up for her first Halloween
?Went to Aunt Shell's house for Thanksgiving with the family
?Travelled to Los Angeles for Caroline to meet her great-grandmother, Esther
And spent all of December celebrating everything related to Christmas and
thanking God for this incredible year?
We know we are beyond blessed and have?only the Good Lord to thank for?everything He has given us. Not a day goes by where I don't (for at least one moment or two) sit back and realize just how wonderful this life is, and how I don't want to waste a single minute of it.
2013 undoubtedly will be another challenging, exciting, and whirlwind year--from what I can already tell--but I hope to live everyday better than the one before and have the opportunity to share our life with you.
And my favorite quote to start off 2013: "now let us welcome the new year, full of things that have never been". Happy New Year friends-may this next one be your best year yet...OXOX?
